My son and I came in today at opening time, (we are from Hastings) I am pregnant and craving sushi (which is a no no as most know) they were very kind and helped me find a roll I can eat safely! I also ordered the pad Thai which was AMAZING and a very large portion. My son had the orange chicken bento box and let me tell you, THE BEST orange chicken we have ever had! It came with fried rice, wontons, salad, a fried egg roll type thing and a soda!!!100% the best egg roll I’ve ever had! The cream cheese wontons were on the sweet side but also very very good. The matcha boba tea is spot on as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! You might have a bit of a wait but with food like this it’s so worth it.

Delicious!! The best poke bowl I've had in a while. Sushi is definitely their specialty but I was not at all disappointed with their chicken lo mien! The workers were super sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere was great. A perfect place if you want to eat good food in a nice quiet relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

I love the food at Sushi Cafe! My go to's are the wantons, Philadelphia rolls, and sesame chicken. The best asain food in Cottage Grove.

The restaurant is clean and nice. We got the pecan shrimp, crunch roll, shrimp tempura roll, and chicken Pad Thai. The food portions were big, food tastes great, and the pricing is reasonable.

What a surprise!! This place is amazing. I didnt think a tiny sushi place out in the suburbs can serve up such delicious food. Boy, was I wrong. We came once before but was turned away because of the price. But after reading constant positive reviews from a local FB page, I had to try. I ordered the salmon poke bowl with greens. It came with miso soup and side salad. The ginger dressing for the salad was awesome; it was the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and subtle spice. The poke bowl was the best part, generous portions of meat. I was afraid the bowl was going to be 80% greens, which is how other places do it because they're stingy cheap. The fish tasted great and the toppings were great. I would love to go back. The CA roll was good too.

Really great lunch at the sushi cafe. The poke bowl was really good. You get a cup of miso soup and a side salad with it. Very friendly staff. I was happy that i went there instead of Jimmy johns next door. I wish that sushi cafe had some lunch specials though. Overall a very tastey meal.
